What’s the fastest,yet safe way to thaw out precooked frozen shrimp?

Wife bought me some precooked and peeled shrimp. I always like cooking the raw shrimp, have fun peeling, but have to make do this time! I think just leaving them bowl overnight should be good. Or is it safe to place in water to thaw out fast, that way I can enjoy some tonight! Thank you for your answers!
